Kids Event by Chathu – Party Services & Rentals Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kids Event by Chathu! We look forward to helping you create a fun, memorable event. To ensure a smooth experience, please review the following terms and conditions regarding our party services and rentals. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking cost is required to confirm your reservation.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due at least seven (7) days prior to the event.
  • Accepted Payments: Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or an approved online payment method.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit but no further charges. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may incur additional charges.
  • Rescheduling: We understand that plans can change. One rescheduling request is permitted up to seven (7) days before the event, subject to availability. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the event may incur additional fees.

3. Rental Equipment Terms

  • Rental Period: All rental equipment, such as tables, chairs, and party decorations, is for the specified event duration only.
  • Damages: You are responsible for any damage or loss of rental equipment during the rental period. Charges will be applied for repair or replacement of damaged items.
  • Return of Equipment: All rental items must be returned in their original condition at the end of the event. Additional charges may apply for missing or damaged items.

4. Service Terms

  • Setup and Teardown: We provide setup and teardown services as part of your package unless otherwise specified. Please allow our team access to the venue at least 2 hours before and after the event for setup and cleanup.
  • Face Painters, Mascots, and Performers: Services such as face painting, mascot appearances, DJs, and other entertainment are subject to availability. While we strive for punctuality, slight delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Safety: We take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of your guests. However, Kids Event by Chathu is not liable for accidents or injuries that occur due to misuse of equipment or lack of supervision.

5. Food and Beverage Policy

  • Popcorn and Candy Floss: Our food equipment is regularly cleaned and maintained. We request that all food items are consumed during the event and not stored for later use.
  • Allergies: Please inform us of any allergies among guests prior to the event to help us take necessary precautions.

6. Weather Policy

  • In the event of poor weather, we recommend having an indoor backup plan if your party is outdoors. Rescheduling may be available based on weather forecasts, but additional charges may apply.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Kids Event by Chathu is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during the event due to the use or misuse of our rental equipment or services. We also cannot be held responsible for disruptions caused by third-party vendors or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Photography and Media Consent

  • By hosting an event with Kids Event by Chathu, you consent to photos or videos being taken during the event for promotional use unless you request otherwise in writing. No images of children will be used without consent.
